Abstract
Aneurysmal bone cyst is an uncomon tumor-like lesion of the bone, Conteining distended channels or cavities filled with blood. This Case, a twenty year old male, complained of pain and swelling in the left lateral aspect of the proximal tibia.
Roentgenograms showed a balloned-out distension of the proximal tibia, eccentric buldging of the cortex and soap-bubble appearance of the lesion. The case was treated with radical curretage and autogenous bone graft with bone chips which were taken from the iliac wing.
About 15 month later he bad no complaints and no evidence of recurrence.
